Dark Chocolate with cranberries and almonds! Yummy! My favorite!
This morning the girls had pj day (it is red ribbon week) at school. I got them ready and off to school and just as I was leaving for a business meeting….the school calls….Kiki has refused h1n1 shot…..ahhhhh noooo! So I go to the school, postpone the meeting by a half hour…and make my baby feel better and get her shot….whew..thank goodness….I went to my meeting..it went VERY well…I met with some nice men who are interested in helping “Carter Chocolatier” succeed! They sampled the fudge and LOVED it- their fave? “Peanut butter cup never tasted so good”! When I left there I went to arrange a holiday basket for Kiki’s class and headed back to the school….teachers, parents, children and office workers tried our fudge…..it was a hit! Today the classroom had a Halloween party so it was a perfect time to share our fudge! The children around the school and teachers were so cute all dressed in costumes and pj’s! Now we are heading to put together the girls costumes for a nig party tonight we will be attending! I can’t tell what they are dressing as, it is a big surprise BUT it is good!!!!! I also have a few more batches of fudge to make for the weekend festivities! I hope everyone has a Spooky, Fun and safe Halloween!!!!

“Carter Chocolatier” was discovered at “Joeys on the beach 2″ last night by an owner of a new hotel here in Panama City Beach! He LOVED our fudge and stated asking…who makes this???? Joey told him and he left his information for me to call him….I did….and HE WANTS IT IN HIS HOTEL!!!! This was my “Tom Cruise moment” I wanted moment of complete exhilaration…I was home alone and screamed with excitement!!!! I called 5 people right away and updated my facebook! The girls got off the school bus and I tackled them screaming “A hotel wants our fudge”! Also they want to send it to all of their clients for Christmas!!! Spread the word everyone…”Carter Chocolatier” is growing!!!!
Tonight I went to the restaurant and I was cutting up our newest fudge! “Darlin Fudge” It is after “Darla”, one of my best friends. It is what Darla loves and I know a lot of you will too….It turned out beautifully! It is a dark and semi-sweet chocolate with almonds and pecans. A lady came in and tried it, and bought half a pound! She is taking it to her work tomorrow so that everyone can try it!!! She loved it!If you notice there is a lot of “Love” and “fudge” going on here
…. That’s because there is a lot of “Love and Care” in every ounce we make by yours truly “Carter Chocolatier”!

BUT on the other hand, how do you attempt to make something great even greater if you don’t try new things….so I did. I was given a different chocolate to try in my fudge today and it sure did taste nice BUT it was too sticky and didn’t hold a firm texture ….at all….I appreciated the gesture! So thank you to that special someone! But we are trying new things all the time and open to all different things! So if YOU have any ideas, please feel free to share them…We love being creative at “Carter Chocolatier”! Thank you!

To all of my present and future Carter Chocolatier fans there is some exciting news… I met yesterday with a good friend of mine..he is a very successful restaurant owner and it looks like we may be extending Carter Chocolatier into another restaurant! I will keep you all posted. I can tell you we are super excited. It makes us happy to make others happy! Also, today I mixed a blend of Maple, Vanilla and Pecan and it was absolutely delectable! This morning I woke my beautiful girls and got them off to school….I went to the gym to help counteract my extra calorie intake that I have acquired by my fudge sampling…:0? All is well, an hour and a half later I was done and off to start my day of fudge making, website building and creating! It is a beautiful thing doing something I love! I am actually doing 2 things I love, working with the media and tv, AND making “Carter Chocolatier” fudge! Panama City Beach is really loving it!

As I awoke this beautiful Sunday morning. I could not help but smile. I realized not only is our fudge for sale..it is selling and off to a great beginning! So today we are working hard on pricelist and order forms….of course FUDGEMAKING…and at some point will get the “About me” done so that you can know exactly who we are and what we are about…perhaps even most importantly…why we are doing it! “Carter Chocolatier”

Willie was great! He has always been and will always be! BUT due to my complete rush out the door, I left my most sacred fudge that I was going to whew Willie with BUT that is OK because I will send him some! Today I have ran all over the world and back….bought packaging products, chocolate by bulk AND a stop by the dance shop! (For my daughter Kassidy’s jazz shoes)! Not ONLY am I a busy fudge connoisseur but I am also a single Mom of 2 great little girls! Kassidy is 9 and Kierstyn (Kiki) is 7! They are my inspiration!
